Pre-K 2024-2025

Pre-Kindergarten at École John Wilson Elementary

Our Pre-Kindergarten program provides a rich learning
environment and offers an early learning experience for
children aged three and four who have been identified as
having a special education need by a qualified professional.

Our program is intended to provide early intervention to three
and four year old children with severe disabilities and four
year old children with mild/moderate language delays.
Children attending our program are provided with educational
play based activities designed to enhance communication,
cognitive, emotional, social, creative and physical
development in preparation for Kindergarten. For children
who qualify, there is no cost to attend the program.

Our Pre-Kindergarten is a half-day program consisting of
three or four days per week (Monday through Thursday). It
begins in September and finishes at the end of June. A
calendar will be shared once accepted into the program.

Staff in our Pre-kindergarten include a certified teacher, an
educational assistant and additional support provided by a
Speech and Language Pathologist and Occupational Therapist.
When space permits, community students on our waitlist will
be invited to attend Pre-Kindergarten, serving as
communication and social peer partners. Community students
will be required to pay tuition of $200/month.

Please contact the school (403-227-3292) if you are
interested in joining us next year or if you have any
questions about the program.
