École John Wilson Elementary School: Enrichir la vie des enfants!
École John Wilson Elementary School is the school to start the French immersion journey for students in Innisfail. The French Immersion program is intended for English speaking children. We approach French Immersion with the assumption that the children have no previous experience or knowledge of French. We will gradually introduce French with simple stories and play. As the French Immersion journey continues, the child will be able to read, write and converse in French. The French Immersion program aligns with the provincial curriculum. We follow the same outcomes as the English classes. The objective is full mastery of the English language, functional fluency in French, as well as an understanding and appreciation of the French culture.
